Origin Story
The HYVE Recordings emerged from the co-write as a natural progression in music making in 2024. A Nashville studio centered around songwriting, every technical decision is made to tell a story, and every question is answered by the music.
Credit Where Credit is Due
Every recording of original music encounters intellectual property. We work to protecting and certify human artistic contribution through written contracts, acknowledging authorship and artistic contributions to each song, and registering intellectual property. The HYVE efforts to properly document these contributions with the highest fair and ethical considerations.

Every one of our favorite records were made by teams, and that's why we spread out the expertise. We know our strengths, and when to employ expertise, and that's how we build music with industry standard recording quality.
Rate Standards
The HVYE values human contributions to music making, and understands the importance of setting and paying fair rates to people for musicianship, production, mixing, and mastering. Rates are determined with the assistance of Nashville institutional knowledge such as the Nashville Musicians Association, Recording Musicians Association, and the working professional community in Nashville.

The HYVE Record Making Process
The record making process happens in 3 stages.
1. Pre Production
From co-writing, finalizing arrangements, chart writing, and scratch tracks, the pre-production phase is all about wrapping up writing and preparing for the recording. This process saves time and money by being prepared for the recording and leads to better songs and recordings.
2. Recording
The recording phase of a project is about capturing the music, bottling the energy, and creating musical and expressive moments that will last forever. The HYVE studio band works with the artist and with the guidance of a lead producer to take the vision defined in pre-production and make it reality.
3. Post Production
Now that the instrumental and vocal tracking is complete, the recording moves on to the mixing and then finally the mastering process. This takes the captured music recorded and refines tones and sonic qualities to finish off the recording. The mixing and mastering team work with the artist and producer to confirm the vision and finish the music.
Radio Ready Recordings
Now that the songwriting, recording, and all necessary paperwork is filed to protect and confirm the rights, property, and ownership of the songs and master recording, it’s ready to be delivered to the artist to be sold and distributed.
