About the experience
Designed for experienced pros and future stars seeking original music opportunities in Nashville where creativity and networking can occur in a collaborative, fun, and professional environment.
Musicians are brought together, a theme is established, and the group works together to co-write a full song within a limited time. Chords, lyrics, style, structure, rhythms are all determined and the session concludes with a demo recording take to solidify the composition. The process is guided and facilitated by Joe Hamm, and supported by a team of experienced writers and musicians.
HYVE writers leave the session with new professional music relationships, new friends, and grow as artists and writers.

Joe Hamm
From jazz to pop, country to rock, Joe is an all-in performer and producer supporting and building musical endeavors.
Joe created The HVYE in 2024 which has included over 40 artists, 9 demos, and release it's debut recording in 2026.
Joe is an active session and performing musician, blending a DIY punk rock spirit with a BM in Jazz Studies and is always reaching for what's next. As a producer, his unique brand of collaboration and enabling freedom to brings music to life.

Jake Handley
Singer-songwriter Jake Handley is a Nashville songwriter, musician, educator, and music maker. Fronting the Blue Sky Bandits and his solo project, Jake is a story teller at heart.
Jack Zondlo
Jack is a Nashville, TN bassist, manager and playback engineer. Jack has performed with artists such as Blaire Elbert, Jordan Kahn Orchestra, Emmet Stevens Jr., and Thomas Goforth LT.
Lani Watson
Lani is a sassy kaleidoscope of sound and spirit. Americana at the core, but experiments with pop, country, rock, and more—pushing generic boundaries with every track. As a passionate advocate for women’s rights and environmental conservation, she blends artistry with activism.
Gabe Feldman
Gabe is a composer, pianist specializing in jazz and pop music. Frequently performing with multiple jazz groups throughout Nashville or performing with original rock and pop bands in iconic venues.
Ryan Maier
Ryan Maier is a Nashville-based mixing and recording engineer known for crafting natural, emotionally impactful records across Americana, country, pop, rock, and gospel.
With nearly two decades of experience, Ryan brings a musician’s sensibility to the mix process—prioritizing feel, dynamics, and authenticity while delivering polished, modern results.
